The Purpose of Our Lives
Allah says in the Qur’an: “Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?” [The Noble Qur’an, Surah Al-Mu’minoon (Chapter of the Believers), 23:115] Based on a survey conducted by Pew Research Center,… Continue reading

The Authentic Names of Allah in Al-Qur’an and As-Sunnah The ninety-nine Names of Allah (Asmaa’ul-Husnaa) mentioned in the popular nasheed that most likely you have heard, learnt or memorised are sourced from da‘eef (weak) hadiths such as Jami’ at-Tirmidhi (3507) and Sunan Ibn Majah (3861); listing some names that are not explicitly… Continue reading

THE TRUE MEANING OF GRATITUDE IS NOT JUST UTTERING THANKS TO ALLAH…
Know that Iblis and his army do not cease in their efforts until they make the servant forget Allah’s favours and fall into ingratitude. Iblis said to Allah: “Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left,… Continue reading

About me

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum السلام عليكم (may the Peace be upon you).
My name is Muhammad Fahmi ‘Abdullah محمد فهمي عبد الله. I am dedicated to spreading awareness of the authentic Islamic knowledge based on the understanding of as-Salafus-Salih [the Pious Predecessors; the first and best three generations of the followers of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (may Allah send Blessings and Peace upon him)] through the internet.
Whatever I share on this site that is good and true is from Allah ﷻ (Glory be to His Majesty), and whatever that is wrong or false is from my own ignorance and from the accursed Satan.
I pray that Allah ﷻ increases us in beneficial knowledge that enriches our lives in this world and the Hereafter, and grants us enthusiasm and sincerity in seeking it. I also pray that Allah ﷻ bestows upon us true understanding of the pure and authentic teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Aameen.
