As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum 🤗
Whoever finds life difficult in this city… busy working to earn a living for the family… there is a formula for success, a way out of any problem… ask Allah for a career that allows you to perform the prayer (salah) on time… not a career that forces you to delay the prayer or, worse still, makes you unable to perform it at all…
Allah calls us to communicate with Him five times a day, to ask for whatever we consider good for ourselves… Do not think of prayer only as a command from Allah… rather, think that Allah wants to “meet” us to grant us His blessings… sadly, most of us decline His invitation.
Only He knows the blessings we need in this worldly life… He knows what is best for us… is it not that by failing to prioritise prayer, we are rejecting His blessings? hardship, difficulty, anxiety, and sadness arise because we reject the blessings He wishes to give us every day… every day, five times…
Remember that prayer is a blessing for us… and also a blessing that Allah wants to give us every day… five times… know that by reciting Surah Al-Fatihah in our prayer, we are in fact asking Him for blessings… understand the meaning of Surah Al-Fatihah… Allah responds to our recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by saying: “My servant will have what he has asked for” when we recite: “EEYAAKA NA’BUDU WA EEYAAKA NASTA‘EEN” [You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything)]… read hadith of Sahih Muslim (395) to learn more…
Allah will not reject the supplication of someone who asks to be enabled to perform the five daily prayers on time… because Allah Himself wants to meet us every day to grant His best blessings for us… Allah wants success for us… not failure in this world and the Hereafter… 🤗
In conclusion, do not reject Allah’s blessings, for that is the cause of our lives lacking peace.
