Islam means submission to the Will of Allah (God). Islam is the belief that there is only One True God, whose proper name is Allah. All the prophets starting from Adam to Noah, to Moses, to Abraham, to Jesus, and finally to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (may Allah send Blessings and Peace upon him), the Last and Final Messenger, were sent by Allah to their people and they preached the same message of Islam: “There is no god except Allah, so worship Him and avoid worshipping the created beings.” Different from all the prophets before him, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was not only sent to his people, but to the whole of mankind, conveying the revelation from Allah; the Noble Quran.
Become a Muslim Now
If you believe that there is only one God who should be worshipped, and no one or nothing else has that right but Him, and you also believe that Muhammad ﷺ, was a Messenger who brought the same message as all the prophets before him, then you are basically a Muslim.
Do Not Hesitate
If someone receives the message of Islam and dies rejecting it, he or she is forever destined to Hellfire. Those who truly and sincerely believe in the message of Islam and affirm the Shahadah stated below will have all their previous sins forgiven. In the Hereafter, if their good deeds outweigh their sins after judgement, they will be granted eternal residence in Paradise. If you believe that Islam is the truth, then act upon it. Do not be concerned with the opinions of others. Your eternal life is at stake.
To become a Muslim, simply declare the following in Arabic:
Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illallaah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasooluhu.
Meaning:
I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.
