Understand Islam The Way Of The Salaf

You were not created to seek SUSTENANCE that keeps you busy from worshiping Allah ﷻ.

You were not created to find a JOB that keeps you busy from worshipping Allah ﷻ.

You were only created to worship Allah ﷻ. Then Allah ﷻ subdues the earth for you and make a way for you to find sustenance so as to help you to be in obedience to Him. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (may Allah send Blessings and Peace upon him) said:

“Whoever makes the Hereafter his goal, Allah makes his heart rich, and organizes his affairs, and the world comes to him whether it wants to or not. And whoever makes the world his goal, Allah puts his poverty right before his eyes, and disorganizes his affairs, and the world does not come to him, except what has been decreed for him.” [Jami’ at-Tirmidhi (2465), Classified Sahih (Authentic) by Sheikh al-Albani]

Bear in mind that this world that keeps you busy from worshiping Allah ﷻ is a cursed world because it keeps you far from Allah ﷻ. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“The world is cursed. Cursed is whatever in it except the remembrance of Allah and deeds that He loves and also a person with knowledge or a seeker of knowledge.” [Jami’ at-Tirmidhi (2322)]

Be sure that Allah ﷻ is the one who created you. Allah ﷻ has also given you tasks. Allah ﷻ will also ask you to be accountable for your deeds. After death, you will be questioned before Allah ﷻ. And the first deed that will be asked is the PRAYER. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Indeed, the first deed by which a servant will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection is his salah (prayers). If it is in order, he is successful and saved, but if it is defective, he has failed and lost. So if there is something deficient in his obligatory prayers then the Lord, Mighty and Sublime says: ‘See if My servant has any voluntary prayers that can complete what is deficient in his obligatory prayers.’ Then the rest of his deeds will be treated like that.” [Jami’ at-Tirmidhi (413)]

If you take care of your PRAYERS, then you can definitely take care of other deeds. If you take care of your PRAYERS, Allah ﷻ will definitely ease all your affairs in this world.

Remember that Allah ﷻ said:

“And I did not create jinn and mankind except for them to worship and serve Me.” [Al-Quran, Surah Adh-Dhariyat 51:56]

Take care of the five daily PRAYERS.
