A DHIKR (REMEMBRANCE) OF ALLAH WHICH IS GREATER AND MORE VIRTUOUS THAN ANY DHIKR BY DAY AND NIGHT

It was narrated that Abu Umamah رضي الله عنه (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Prophet ﷺ (may Allah send Blessings and Peace upon him) saw me moving my lips and he said to me: ‘What are you saying, O Abu Umamah?’ I said: ‘I am remembering Allah, O Messenger of Allah.’ He said: ‘Shall I not inform you of something greater and more virtuous than your dhikr of night and day? You should say:

Glory be to Allah as much as all He has created. Glory be to Allah as much as what can fill His creation. Glory be to Allah as much as what is in the earth and the sky. Glory be to Allah as much as what can fill the earth and the sky. Glory be to Allah as much as what His Book has recorded. Glory be to Allah as much as what fills His Book. Glory be to Allah as much as everything. Glory be to Allah as much as what fills everything. All praise is for Allah as much as what He has created. All praise is for Allah as much as what can fill His creation. All praise is for Allah as much as what is in the earth and the sky. All praise is for Allah as much as what can fill up the earth and the sky. All praise is for Allah as much as what His Book has recorded. All praise is for Allah as much as what fills His Book. All praise is for Allah as much as everything. All praise is for Allah as much as what fills everything.’” [Sahih Ibn Hibban (830) and Sahih at-Targheeb wat-Tarheeb (1575)]
